For Part 135 operators

Operator endpoints.

BasiFly brings demand to certified Part 135 operators. You post availability, answer with a firm price, and confirm the leg. You set the price, you invoice the traveler, you fly. BasiFly coordinates — it never books for you.

What enrollment is

Enrollment issues your operation an op_live_ API key scoped to your tails. With it, your dispatch system (or an agent acting for it) can post time-boxed availability, respond to matched intents with firm quotes, and confirm bookings. Quotes you do not answer stay estimates; legs you do not confirm never reach booked.

Key authentication

All three endpoints require a Bearer op_live_ key. A missing or non-operator key returns 401. The key is the credential — keep it in a secret manager, never in a public channel.

Post availability

Declare a tail's open window. Required: operator_id, tail, window_start, window_end, valid_until. Optional: origin_icao, dest_icao, seats, price_band.

Firm quote

Respond to a matched intent with your price. Required: intent_id, price_usd, validity. Optional: conditions, tail, operator_id. Your price_usd is the operator subtotal; it promotes the quote's confidence to operator_firm. The BasiFly coordination fee is computed and presented separately — never folded into your price.

Confirm

The only path to booked. Body: { "quote_id": "qt_..." }. It advances confirming → booked; a wrong source state returns 409 with a reason. No agent can do this — confirmation is yours alone.

The no-commission model

BasiFly does not take a cut of your charter. There is no commission and no markup folded into your number. The traveler pays you directly for the flight, over your own rails; BasiFly bills its own coordination fee to the traveler, disclosed and separate. BasiFly never custodies, escrows, or routes charter funds. You keep your price whole.
