From an idea to an itinerary

Three steps toward somewhere good.

01 / YOUR PLAN

Tell us about the trip.

Pick your airports, dates and group size. Add preferences and anything that matters, from ski bags to a special occasion. “Recommend a category” is a perfectly good place to start.

02 / YOUR OPTIONS

Understand the possibilities.

Your request gives you route guidance and an indicative estimate when available. With your permission, BasiFly can seek a real quote from an operator. No payment is taken by the planner.

03 / YOUR DECISION

Review, then confirm.

The operator confirms the aircraft, price and availability. You review the quote, the separate BasiFly fee and the terms. A request becomes a flight only after you agree and the operator confirms.

A little context goes a long way

Know what you’re paying for.

The aircraft, for your group.

Charter is priced for the whole aircraft. A per-person figure is a way to think about the cost within your own group, not a seat you can buy separately.

The trip around your trip.

An aircraft may need to fly to your departure airport first. This is called repositioning, and it can affect the price. Different dates or nearby airports may change the options.

A quote with the details.

Our estimate is a planning guide. Your operator’s quote sets the actual terms and price. Check taxes, airport charges, any additional costs and the separate BasiFly coordination fee.

There’s no universal “best deal.” The right choice is the flight that fits your people, your plans and a budget you’re comfortable with.

What is a charter, exactly?

A charter reserves an aircraft for your own group and itinerary. It is different from buying seats on an airline: your quote covers the whole aircraft, and the operator confirms the trip and its terms.

Where do I go at the airport?

Private flights often use a private terminal or fixed-base operator (FBO). Your operator confirms the exact location, check-in time, identification requirements and boarding instructions. Follow those instructions rather than the usual airline-terminal signs.

Can I bring luggage, skis or a pet?

Include those details in your trip notes. Luggage space, weight limits and pet policies depend on the aircraft and operator. Passenger seats alone do not tell you whether all of your bags will fit.

Why can the same route have different prices?

Aircraft size, dates, availability and the distance an aircraft must travel to reach you can all affect a quote. Overnight costs, airport charges and taxes can also matter. An indicative estimate is a starting point; review the operator’s actual quote and terms.

Will I share the aircraft with people I don’t know?

No. Your group charters the aircraft. If BasiFly coordinates compatible routing with another trip, those remain separate flights. It does not mean sharing a cabin with strangers.

What should I check before confirming?

Review the operator, aircraft, airports, flight times, luggage and accessibility requirements, total price, separate BasiFly fee, cancellation terms and payment instructions. Ask about anything that is unclear before agreeing to the operator’s contract.

Your operator takes care of the flight.

BasiFly coordinates your request and operator follow-up. We do not operate aircraft or exercise operational control. The operator is responsible for flight feasibility and operation, and your agreement is with that operator.
