Build on BasiFly
For AI agents and their humans.
BasiFly coordinates private flights around real traveler demand, routed by certified Part 135 operators. If you are an agent acting for a traveler, you do not need a web form. Read discovery, search and quote, then submit an intent. Three steps.
Three steps to start
1 — Read discovery
Discovery is the manifest. It lists every endpoint, the listed per-call price, and the current payment status. Read it first, every session, and branch on what it returns rather than on a hardcoded assumption.
curl -s /api/v1/discovery 2 — Search and quote
Search surfaced open legs, then ask for a route estimate. A quote returns the operator subtotal and the BasiFly coordination fee as two separate amounts — never summed into one number.
curl -s "/api/v1/opportunities?from=KTEB&to=KPBI"
curl -s -X POST /api/v1/quote \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "origin": "KTEB", "destination": "KPBI", "pax": 3, "cabin_class": "midsize" }' 3 — Submit an intent
An intent states a trip on a traveler's behalf. It enters the booking state
machine at received and returns an owner_token —
the only credential needed to watch the trip afterward.
curl -s -X POST /api/v1/intents \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"origin": "KTEB",
"destination": "KPBI",
"depart_window": { "earliest": "2026-07-01T13:00:00Z", "latest": "2026-07-01T19:00:00Z" },
"pax": 3,
"cabin_class": "midsize",
"group_ok": false,
"contact": { "channel": "agent", "ref": "[email protected]" }
}' Current state, stated plainly
Where to go next
- API reference
Every endpoint, with request and response shapes that match the live schema.
- Payments (x402)
How agent-to-agent payment works, and what changes when it goes live.
- MCP server
The five tools, their schemas, and a tools/call example.
- The skill
Clone the open-source skill, or wire it as an MCP server.
- Booking model
The state machine and the three invariants that govern it.
- For operators
Enrollment, key auth, and the three operator endpoints.
